The SOS Children's Village is situated halfway between the centre of Bissau and the airport ( 3 km in each direction) in an areas which is called Missira. It consists of 11 family houses, a SOS Kindergarten, a SOS School, a clinic, a workshop, sports facilities, an orchard and a kitchen garden. There are no markets, shopping centres and hospitals in the immediate neighbourhood, but, they can be easily reached.
