The SOS Children's Village Bukavu is situated on a hill above the town of Bukavu on the Lake Kivu. The SOS Children's Village consists of 9 family houses, an SOS Kindergarten, an SOS Primary school (also attended by children from the neighbourhood) with room for 500 pupils, SOS Youth Facilities for girls and boys, an SOS Medical Centre and administrative buildings. The SOS Children's Village Bukavu offers a loving home to about 100 children.
