The SOS Children's Village Draria was completed in 1990. It finally started operating in 1992. The SOS Children's Village Al Achour/Draria is located 13 km south of the center of Algiers, a city of 4 million. It consists of 10 family houses, a SOS-Kindergarten, a multi-purpose hall, a workshop and a house for personnel and aunts.

It consists of 10 family houses, a SOS-Kindergarten, a multi-purpose hall, a workshop and a house for personnel and aunts. A total of 90 children will be provided with a new home and family in the SOS Children's Village El Achour/Draria.
