From Entebbe International Airport the SOS Children's Village may be reached driving 9 km along the road from Entebbe towards Kampala. The entrance to the Children's Village lies on the right hand side directly off the highway adjacent to a trading town known as Abayita Ababiri.

The SOS Children's Village consists of 12 family houses, Village director?s house, SOS aunts house (SOS aunts temporarily take over the role of SOS mothers if needed), multi-purpose hall with library, SOS Kindergarten and administration and service area. Once it has reached its full capacity 120 children will be living in the SOS Children's Village. A total of 100 children are taken care of at the SOS Kindergarten which comprises four classes, including a Montessori class.
