The SOS Children's Village Imzouren is located between the foot hills of the Rif Mountains and the Mediterranean coast, approximately 20 km from the provincial capital of Al Hoceima. It was built on a property of 6 hectares and consists of 10 family houses. In addition, it comprises a Village Director's house, a house for staff and guests, office buildings, a reading room, a sick-ward and a store. The SOS youths have the opportunity of training their skills in the workshops for woodcraft, metal work, textile work and in domestic science. The SOS Children's Village has a Kindergarten (for approx. 80 boys and girls) which is also attended by children from the neighbourhood. A roofed inner courtyard serves as a meeting place. A large playground has been laid out in the Village. A small farm where chicken, sheep and cows are raised, helps to meet the Village's own demand on agricultural produces.
