The small town of Keila is situated approx. 30 km southwest of Tallinn. The 3 hectares site lies about 3 km from the city centre of Keila. The family houses were built in the traditional style of the country: the lower part in brick and the upper part in wood. The site is very well integrated into its surroundings; a nice residential area is neighbouring the SOS Children's Village, while schools, shops and a hospital are situated in the city centre of Keila.
The SOS Children's Village Keila comprises 12 family houses, a SOS Kindergarten, a SOS Primary School, a sports ground, kitchen gardens and the usual administrative buildings (e.g. a house for the Village director and the aunties.
