The third SOS Children's Village of the country was completed in 1995. It is situated in the north-western part of the capital of Managua, in a nice residential quarter with many trees and green areas. The SOS children's Village Managua consists of the family houses, an aunts' house, the house of the Village Director, an SOS Primary School and an SOS Secondary School.

The adjoining SOS Social Centre includes an SOS Day Care Centre, an SOS Kindergarten and two SOS Vocational Centres. Within easy reach of the SOS Children's Village there is a paediatric clinic. The children of the SOS Children's Village can run and play without any danger in the parks and playgrounds of the vicinity.
