The SOS Children's Village Maracay is situated in the city of the same name in a modest district inhabited by middle class people. It is located next to a residential area and about a one hour's drive from Valencia, a bigger city with an international airport. The centre of the city can be reached easily by bus or by car within 10 minutes.
The SOS Children's Village Maracay consists of 12 family houses. Furthermore, there also are the house of the Village Director, an administration building, a multipurpose hall, a house for the SOS aunts and sports facilities. A shopping centre as well as a market are located in the vicinity and the city centre of Maracay and the city of Turmero can be reached easily by bus.
