The SOS Children's Village N'Zérékoré is located about five km outside the town, comprising 10 family houses, an administrative block, a house for the Village Director, a community building, accommodation for the SOS aunts, a guesthouse, a sick ward, a playground, a water tower and a sports ground. Further, an SOS Kindergarten for about 100 children and a SOS Primary School with 6 classrooms are located on the premises of the SOS Children's Village. SOS Primary School consists of four buildings: an administrative block and three buildings with two classrooms each. Both SOS facilities are also attended by children from the neighbourhood. The SOS compound is encircled by a wall. The SOS Kindergarten and the SOS Primary School are designed as a separate enclosed space.
