There are three main types of legacy for making bequests to charities and each has advantages and disadvantages, according to your personal wishes and circumstances. If you would like us to set up an In Memoriam Fund in someone's memory, you can do this in the following ways. Collect the donations and send them to us yourself, telling us how you would like the money to be used and the name of the person you want to remember. It's so easy. All you have to do is tell your employer how much you want to give and how often, and they will then transfer your gift to SOS Children's Villages from your pre-tax salary. And to make your gift worth even more, the government is adding an additional 10% to all payroll donations from now until April 2004. The work of SOS Children's Villages is long-term, so payroll giving helps us plan for the future as well as meeting immediate needs.
