The SOS Children's Village of Owu-Ijebu was built on a piece of land which measures 25 hectares. Since it is relatively large, part of it can be used for agricultural purposes. The SOS Children's Village Owu-Ijebu comprises 12 family houses, Village Director's House, staff house, guest house, office building, workshop and a community hall. Medical care for the children is secured by the SOS clinic. Since 1997, the SOS clinic has been open to people from the neighbourhood. Only during its first year of about 2000 people received medical treatment. The SOS Kindergarten is also attended by children from the neighbourhood. The same goes for the SOS Primary School built in 1996.
