The SOS Children's Village was built on a site of 1,3 hectares and consists of 12 family houses and two additional buildings. In 1992, the Village Director's house, a Community Centre which houses offices, the SOS Kindergarten and a multi-purpose hall for various events, were completed. On the remaining land a farm was set up in order to supply the SOS Children's Village. About 100 children live at Puerto Varas which is one of the most beautiful SOS Children's Villages all over the world.
