The SOS Children's Village Qodsaya consists of eleven family houses, a Village Director's house, a house for aunts with a sewing room, a Village pharmacy, a multi-purpose hall and an administrative building with a community kitchen. The SOS kindergarten is in the Community House and is also attended by the children from the surrounding area.
In 1986, a SOS Youth Hostel was set up at Sahnaya, 20 kilometres from Damascus and 35 kilometres from the SOS Children's Village. Here, the young people have the possibility to prepare themselves for their economic independence.
