The SOS Children's Village Rafah is located approximately 15 km from Rafah in a place called "Deir Sultan". The SOS project comprises twelve family houses, a Village Director's house, accommodation for personnel, aunts and a guests and a community house. An SOS Kindergarten (capacity: 160 children) and an SOS Primary School (capacity: 130 pupils) were added to the SOS project. The SOS Social Centre, which also accommodates a small emergency medical unit, is operated in cooperation with the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
