The SOS Children's Village Siliana was built on a 2 hectare site on the edge of the city. Siliana has about 20.000 inhabitants who live predominantly from the products of agriculture. The SOS Children's Village consists of 11 family houses, a Village Director's house, a SOS Kindergarten for 100 children, a SOS Youth Facility, a Children's Club and a workshop.

The SOS Children's Village Siliana is shaped in the traditional Arabic style. The family houses are connected to the centre of the Village by paths which are bordered by beautiful flower beds. Every house has its own vegetable garden and the entire site was planted with cypress and pine trees. A sports field and a public garden were also laid out.
