SOS Emergency Relief Programme in Gulu, Uganda
Help us build a home for nobody's children
Why not help and support this project?
In northern Uganda a humanitarian disaster is looming. Children abducted and abused by rebels are being abandoned in no man's land. Overstrained authorities and reception centres cannot guarantee long-term care for these abandoned children. We are constructing a temporary SOS Children's Village to help. Please give your support.

Who we are helping
The target group of the emergency relief programme in Gulu are babies and children, who have been affected in different ways by the ongoing civil war in northern Uganda and who have been through inconceivable cruelties: former child soldiers; abandoned children born in captivity; girls, who were abducted and abused as "wives" of troop commandants, with their babies; AIDS orphans; orphaned children, whose parents were killed.
How your donation will help
Even the smallest contribution will have a great effect. With £2 we can offer a child a secure existence for one day, with £15 for one week and with £50 for one month. Your donation gives back to these children their right to family, their right to dignity, their right to childhood!
