The community house, which incorporates a multipurpose room, the office, the Director's apartment and an apartment for visitors, is the centre of the SOS Children's Village. It has been established in an old building, which had been built long before the construction of the SOS Children's Village started. Around the community house, there are the family houses, the standard community facilities of an SOS Children's Village and the SOS Kindergarten which is also attended by the children from the neighbourhood. In addition to that, there are also two SOS Youth Facilities. At the age of approximately 16 years they take up residence in the SOS Youth Facilities, where they prepare for their independent life.
