The SOS Children's Village Tbilisi is situated in the western part of the capital, on the Nuzubidse high plateau, about 8 km from the city centre and about 30 km from the airport. The plot of land measures about 5 ha and is well integrated into the public supply system. The Village is located next to a residential area, which was constructed during the past 15-20 years. Some small food stores and secondary schools can be found in this area. Other facilities, such as hospitals, markets, music schools, etc., are a little closer to the city centre.
The Children's Village consists of 12 family houses, a SOS kindergarten, a house for the Village director and one for the aunts and an administrative building.
