The SOS Children's Village Tlokweng is very well equipped and comprises 15 Family Houses, an SOS Kindergarten, and three SOS Youth Houses, two for boys and one for girls.
The SOS Children's Village also runs two so-called SOS Vocational Training Centres, which were established with local financial support and provide vocational training for the SOS children, offering courses in welding, carpentry, domestic science and arts and crafts. Moreover, crops and vegetables are grown on the farm, supplying the SOS Children's Village with most of the food needed. In addition to that some of the chicken houses were rented out and are now providing an additional source of income for the SOS Children's Village.
