The SOS Children's Village is located in the suburb of Tomilino, approximately 30 kilometres from the city centre of Moscow. In the immediate surroundings, there are kindergartens, schools, markets and shops.

The SOS Children's Village Tomilino consists of eleven family houses, an assembly hall, an employees' house, houses for the aunts and the Village Director, as well as a workshop. In autumn 2002 a SOS Youth Facility was put into operation, where the youths live during the time of their vocational training or education and prepare themselves for an independent life under the guidance of their youth leaders.
