The SOS Children's Village consists of 11 family houses, a SOS Kindergarten, a sportsground and a SOS Health Care Centre. The SOS Primary and Secondary School, which was mentioned above, is annexed to the SOS Children's Village. Thanks to its facilities the SOS Children's Village Zanzibar is well integrated into its neighbourhood and is sort of a centre of it. In 1995, SOS Youths Houses were rented for elder youths three kilometers outside the SOS Children's Village. When the SOS Children's Village will be fully occupied it will offer a new home to 120 children.
