The SOS Children's Village Zigunchor is located beyond the airport of Ziguinchor, opposite an agricultural school. The easiest way to get there is via the road leading to a quarter called "Kenia". The SOS Children's Village comprises 10 family houses, a house for the Village Director, a guest house, an administrative building and a workshop.

The SOS Children's Village Zigunchor is located beyond the airport of Ziguinchor, opposite an agricultural school. The easiest way to get there is via the road leading to a quarter called "Kénia". The SOS Children's Village comprises 10 family houses, a house for the Village Director, a guest house, an administrative building and a workshop. In addition, a SOS Kindergarten was erected which accommodates children in four classrooms. It is open to children from the SOS Children's Village as well as those from the neighbourhood. A small dispensary is also nearby. The hospital and a supermarket are within easy reach too. The SOS Children's Village is both a home to Muslim and Christian children.
